Sleeping vs Eating

Just wondering, I own a farm so have unlimited free meals, is there any point in sleeping, or are you better off just eating to regain health (eating takes a lot less time)?

Most of us just use a kitchen and eat meals to regain health. It could be quite expensive when first starting off in the game, but it does take a lot less time than sleeping.(Time saved is experience earned)
